to the Bucks County Association for the Education of Young Children (BCAEYC), a local affiliate of the state organization (PennAEYC), and the national association (NAEYC). BCAEYC is a non-profit organization composed of over three hundred members dedicated to supporting the needs and rights of young children, their families, and early childhood educators.

BCAEYC Fall Conference in October 8, 2016

The Bucks County Outstanding Educator Award is a recognition program for educators and directors working in Early Childhood Programs. Through a formalized nomination process, these individuals are recognized for their outstanding contribution to the field. Seven Early Childhood Professionals will be honored by the Bucks County Association for the Education of Young Children.

Nominations should be received by May 1, 2016 for presentation at the BCAEYC Fall Conference in October 8, 2016. A panel of judges appointed by the BCAEYC board that is sponsoring the award selects the winners. Questions should be directed to Lori Borman 215-860-1631.

Each year our affiliate co-sponsors the Fall Early Childhood Conference at the Bucks County Community College, which is attended by well over 500 participants--more than 500 for the past several years!! Also included in our calendar of events are professional development opportunities at host centers and Directors� gatherings at area restaurants.  The topics are always timely and enlightening, and the camaraderie is rewarding.
